Vox Group needed some illustrations for a learner driver campaign for the NRMA.There was one hero shot and the rest of the images were to highlight various driving situations.

Big Day Out

Publicis Mojo need an illustration to be used on HP advertising at the Big Day Out music festival in Australia. All the small exploding elements were built in 3D and then comped into a shot of a laptop. The hand was photographed and the 3D microphone put in place. Everything was then graded and lit to look like it was on stage. The light bulbs were not used on the final piece.

JWT Sydney needed a couple of images comping together and recolouring of 2 old black and white photographs to advertise HSBC’s interest rate reduction offer. The copy needed to be added to the newspaper and aged to fit with the old photos.

I entered a competition over at the SpinQuad forums to model a Jedi Star Fighter from the latest 3 Star Wars movies. This was my entry. I think it was the most detailed model I had done up till then. There was somewhere around 72 hours work in just the modelling alone.

Chupa Chups were running a promotion to win a trip to New York and get some work experience working at MTV. The picture frames and wall paper were created from various stock shots and tiling patterns. The photography and the frames were then graded to give it a 70′s look and feel.

This is a small ghost shaped night light that I have from IKEA. I thought it would be fun to model and try out modo’s new painting tools to get the hand painted look on his arms.

All right stop collaborate and listen. Publicis Mojo Sydney needed some 3D Wild Turkey RTD’s (ready to drink) 375ml cans and and 340ml bottles built, modelled, rendered and comped into an existing shot of some ice. The final images were used for price boards and point of sale in stores.

What’s Behind The Yellow Door

Vox Group asked me to create a set of yellow doors for one of their clients. After finding reference for all the doors I set about building them all in 3D.

Vicks Range

This was a retouching job of some Vicks pack shots for a television commercial end frame. All the packs had been shot under varying lighting conditions at different times so there was a bit of colour balancing needed between the shots.
